ದೋಹಾ(ಮಾ.20): ಭಾರತದ ಟೇಬಲ್ ಟೆನಿಸ್ ಆಟಗಾರರಾದ ಶರತ್ ಕಮಲ್, ಜಿ.ಸತ್ಯನ್‌, ಮನಿಕಾ ಬಾತ್ರಾ ಹಾಗೂ ಸುತೀರ್ಥ ಮುಖರ್ಜಿ ಟೋಕಿಯೋ ಒಲಿಂಪಿಕ್ಸ್‌ಗೆ ಅರ್ಹತೆ ಪಡೆದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಇಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ಏಷ್ಯನ್‌ ಒಲಿಂಪಿಕ್‌ ಅರ್ಹತಾ ಟೂರ್ನಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಉತ್ತಮ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ ತೋರುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಅರ್ಹತೆ ಪಡೆದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಶರತ್ ಕಮಲ್‌ಗಿದು 4ನೇ ಒಲಿಂಪಿಕ್ಸ್‌ ಆಗಲಿದೆ.

ಪಟಿಯಾಲಾ: ಡಿಸ್ಕಸ್‌ ಥ್ರೋ ಪಟು ಕಮಲ್‌ಪ್ರೀತ್‌ ಕೌರ್‌ ಟೋಕಿಯೋ ಒಲಿಂಪಿಕ್ಸ್‌ಗೆ ಅರ್ಹತೆ ಪಡೆದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ಫೆಡರೇಷನ್‌ ಕಪ್‌ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಹಿರಿಯ ಅಥ್ಲೆಟಿಕ್ಸ್‌ ಚಾಂಪಿಯನ್‌ಶಿಪ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಶುಕ್ರವಾರ 65.06 ಮೀ. ದೂರಕ್ಕೆ ಡಿಸ್ಕಸ್‌ ಎಸೆದು ಕಮಲ್‌ಪ್ರೀತ್‌ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ದಾಖಲೆ ಬರೆದರು. ಒಲಿಂಪಿಕ್ಸ್‌ ಅರ್ಹತೆಗೆ 63.50 ಮೀ. ದೂರ ತಲುಪಬೇಕಿತ್ತು.
