ಏಷ್ಯಾಕಪ್ ಸರಣಿ ಗೆಲುವಿನ ಬೆನ್ನಲ್ಲೇ ವೆಸ್ಟ್ಇಂಡೀಸ್ ವಿರುದ್ಧದ ಟೆಸ್ಟ್ ಸರಣಿಗೆ ತಯಾರಿ ಆರಂಭಗೊಂಡಿದೆ. ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಸಮಿತಿ ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ತಂಡ ಕೂಡ ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡಿದೆ. ಆದರೆ ಸೆಲೆಕ್ಷನ್ ಕಮಿಟಿ ಮತ್ತೆ ಟ್ವಟರಿಗರ ಆಕ್ರೋಶಕ್ಕೆ ತುತ್ತಾಗಿದೆ.
ಮುಂಬೈ(ಸೆ.30): ವೆಸ್ಟ್ಇಂಡೀಸ್ ವಿರುದ್ಧದ ಟೆಸ್ಟ್ ಸರಣಿಗೆ ಟೀಂ ಇಂಡಿಯಾ ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದೇ ಮೊದಲ ಬಾರಿಗೆ ಕನ್ನಡಿಗ ಮಯಾಂಕ್ ಅಗರ್ವಾಲ್‌ಗೆ ಸ್ಥಾನ ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಇಷ್ಟಾದರೂ ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಸಮಿತಿ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಮಾಜಿ ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟಿಗರು ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಟ್ವಿಟರಿಗರು ಗರಂ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಏಷ್ಯಾಕಪ್ ಟೂರ್ನಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಯಕ ವಿರಾಟ್ ಕೊಹ್ಲಿ ಅನುಪಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಿಂದ ರೋಹಿತ್ ಶರ್ಮಾ ತಂಡವನ್ನ ಮುನ್ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದರು. ಫೈನಲ್ ಪಂದ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾಂಗ್ಲಾದೇಶ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ರೋಚಕ ಗೆಲುವು ಸಾಧಿಸೋ ಮೂಲಕ ಏಷ್ಯಾ ಕಪ್ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಗೆದ್ದುಕೊಂಡಿತು. ಇಷ್ಟೇ ಅಲ್ಲ ಟೂರ್ನಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಯಕ ರೋಹಿತ್ ಅದ್ಬುತ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇಷ್ಟಾದರೂ ಟೆಸ್ಟ್ ತಂಡದಲ್ಲಿ ರೋಹಿತ್ಗೆ ಅವಕಾಶ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿಲ್ಲ. ಇದು ಟ್ವಿಟರಿಗರ ಆಕ್ರೋಶಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾರಣವಾಗಿದೆ.
