ದ್ವೀಪರಾಷ್ಟ್ರವೀಗ ಅಕ್ಷರಶಃ ರಕ್ತಸಿಕ್ತವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಈ ದುರ್ಘಟನೆಗೆ ಸಚಿನ್ ತೆಂಡುಲ್ಕರ್, ಯುವರಾಜ್ ಸಿಂಗ್ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಹಲವು ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟಿಗರು ಕಂಬನಿ ಮಿಡಿದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಕೊಲಂಬೊ[ಏ.21]: ಶ್ರೀಲಂಕಾದ ಚರ್ಚ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಹೋಟೆಲ್’ಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಉಗ್ರರು ನಡೆಸಿದ ಪೈಶಾಚಿಕ ಕೃತ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ 156ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಮಂದಿ ಮೃತಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದು, 400 ಮಂದಿ ಗಾಯಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಲಂಕಾ ರಾಜಧಾನಿ ಕೊಲಂಬೋದಲ್ಲಿ ಈಸ್ಟರ್ ಸಂಡೇಯಂದೇ ನಡೆದ 8 ಕಡೆಯ ಸರಣಿ ಸ್ಫೋಟ ಇಡೀ ವಿಶ್ವವನ್ನೇ ತಲ್ಲಣಗೊಳಿಸಿದೆ. ಸೆಬಾಸ್ಟಿಯನ್ ಚರ್ಚ್, ಕೊಚ್ಚಿಕಡೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಬೆಟ್ಟಿಕಾಲೋ ಚರ್ಚ್’ಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಶಾಂಗ್ರಿಲಾ, ಕಿಂಗ್ಸ್ ಬ್ಯೂರಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸಿನಮೋನ್ ಗ್ರ್ಯಾಂಡ್ ಹೋಟೆಲ್ ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾಂಬ್ ಸ್ಪೋಟ ನಡೆದಿದೆ. 150ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಮೃತರ ಪೈಕಿ 35 ಮಂದಿ ವಿದೇಶಿಗರು ಪ್ರಾಣ ತೆತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇದೀಗ ಶ್ರೀಲಂಕಾ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರದಾದ್ಯಂತ ಕರ್ಫ್ಯೂ ವಿಧಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
