ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು (ಏ. 13): ಭಾರತೀಯರ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಂದೂ ಮಾಸದ ಭೀಕರ ಕೃತ್ಯ ಜಲಿಯನ್ ವಾಲಾ ಬಾಗ್‌ ಹತ್ಯಾಕಾಂಡ. ಇತಿಹಾಸದಲ್ಲೇ ಯಾರೂ ಕ್ಷಮಿಸಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲದ ಹೇಯ ಕೃತ್ಯವದು.
1919 ರ ಏಪ್ರಿಲ್‌ 13 ರಂದು ಪಂಜಾಬ್‌ನ ಅಮೃತಸರದ ಜಲಿಯನ್ ವಾಲಾ ಬಾಗ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ, ಸಾವಿರಾರು ನಿಶಸ್ತ್ರಧಾರಿ ಭಾರತೀಯರನ್ನ ಬ್ರಿಟೀಷರು ಗುಂಡಿಕ್ಕಿ ಕೊಂದು ಇಂದಿಗೆ 100 ವರ್ಷ ಕಳೆದಿವೆ.. ಬ್ರಿಟೀಷರ ಹೇಯ ಕೃತ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸುಮಾರು 500ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಮುಗ್ಧ ಭಾರತೀಯರು ಪ್ರಾಣ ಕಳೆದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರು.

ಭೀಕರ ಭಯೋತ್ಪಾದಕ ಕೃತ್ಯ ನಡೆದು ಶತಮಾನ ಕಳೆದರೂ ಸಹ ಇಂದಿಗೂ ಸಹ ಬ್ರಿಟನ್ ಭಾರತೀಯರ ಕ್ಷಮೆ ಕೇಳದೇ ಇರೋದು ದುರಂತ.. ಜಲಿಯನ್ ವಾಲಾಭಾಗ್ಗೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿ ಎಐಸಿಸಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ರಾಹುಲ್ ಗಾಂಧಿ, ಪಂಜಾಬ್ ಸಿಎಂ ಕ್ಯಾಪ್ಟನ್ ಅಮರಿಂದರ್ ಸಿಂಗ್ ಮಡಿದವರ ಆತ್ಮಕ್ಕೆ ಶಾಂತಿ ಕೋರಿದರು.
