ಲಾಹೋರ್‌[ಸೆ.07]: ಪಾಕಿಸ್ತಾನದ ಲೆಗ್‌ ಸ್ಪಿನ್‌ ಮಾಂತ್ರಿಕ, ದಿಗ್ಗಜ ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟಿಗ ಅಬ್ದುಲ್ ಖಾದಿರ್‌ ಶುಕ್ರವಾರ ಹೃದಯಾಘಾತದಿಂದ ನಿಧನರಾದರು. ಅವರಿಗೆ 63 ವರ್ಷ ವಯಸ್ಸಾಗಿತ್ತು.

ಪಾಕ್ ಪರ 67 ಟೆಸ್ಟ್‌ ಹಾಗೂ 104 ಏಕದಿನ ಪಂದ್ಯಗಳನ್ನಾಡಿದ್ದ ಅಬ್ದುಲ್, ಅಂತಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಒಟ್ಟು 368 ವಿಕೆಟ್‌ಗಳನ್ನು ಕಬಳಿಸಿದ್ದರು. 2009ರಲ್ಲಿ ಖಾದಿರ್‌ ಪಾಕಿಸ್ತಾನ ತಂಡದ ಆಯ್ಕೆಗಾರರಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ಅವರು ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದ ತಂಡ, 2009ರ ಟಿ20 ವಿಶ್ವಕಪ್‌ ಗೆದ್ದಿತ್ತು.
ಅಬ್ದುಲ್ ಖಾದಿರ್‌ ನಿಧನಕ್ಕೆ ಪಾಕಿಸ್ತಾನದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಇಮ್ರಾನ್ ಖಾನ್ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಹಾಲಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಮಾಜಿ ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟಿಗರು ಕಂಬನಿ ಮಿಡಿದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
