ಆರ್ ಅಶ್ವಿನ್ ಮಂಕಡಿಂಗ್ ರನೌಟ್ ಇದೀಗ ಅಂತಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಮಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರಿ ಚರ್ಚೆಗೆ ಗ್ರಾಸವಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ರೀತಿಯ ಗೆಲುವು ಅಶ್ವಿನ್‌ಗೆ ಬೇಕಿತ್ತಾ? ಅನ್ನೋದು ಒಂದೆಡೆಯಾದರೆ, ಇದು ಐಸಿಸಿ ನಿಯಮ ಅನ್ನೋದು ಮತ್ತೊಂದೆಡೆ. ಅಶ್ವಿನ್ ಮಾಡಿದ ರನೌಟ್‌ಗೆ ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್ ದಿಗ್ಗಜರು ಅಭಿಮಾನಿಗಳಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನು? ಇಲ್ಲಿದೆ.

ಅಶ್ವಿನ್ ಚೆಂಡು ಎಸೆಯುವ ಮೊದಲೇ ಬಟ್ಲರ್ ಕ್ರೀಸ್‌ ಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದರು. ಐಸಿಸಿ ನಿಯಮದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ಈ ರೀತಿ ಮಾಡಲು ಅನುಮತಿ ಇದೆ. ಮಂಕಡಿಂಗ್ ಮೂಲಕ ಅಶ್ವಿನ್ ರನೌಟ್ ಮಾಡಿ ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಇತ್ತ ಅಂಪೈರ್ ಯಾವುದೇ ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆ ನೀಡಿದ ನೇರವಾಗಿ ಔಟ್ ತೀರ್ಪು ನೀಡಿದರು. ರನೌಟ್ ಬಳಿಕ ಅಶ್ವಿನ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಬಟ್ಲರ್ ನಡುವೆ ಮಾತಿನ ಚಕಮಕಿ ನಡೆಯಿತು. ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ತಾಣಗಳಲ್ಲೂ ಈ ರನೌಟ್ ಭಾರೀ ಚರ್ಚೆಗೆ ಕಾರಣವಾಗಿದೆ.

2. The bowler who acted within the rules and was not stupid

Is it very different from a batter observing what the bowler has bowled, then spots a loose ball and hits it for four? Action, mistake spotted, reaction that penalises the mistake. Ashwin didn't fool Buttler into a sense of security, then deceive him. Buttler did that to himself.

Don’t blame Ashwin here. As it’s allowed in the Laws of the game.. how is it disrespectful or against the spirit of the game if it’s allowed within the Laws of game?
