ಪ್ರಜಾಪ್ರಭುತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಗಳದ್ದೇ ಮೇಲಾಟ. ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಸ್ಥಾನ ಗಳಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ, ಸರಕಾರ ರಚಿಸಲು ಅಗತ್ಯವಾದ ಸಂಖ್ಯಾಬಲ ಸಿಗದ ಕಾರಣ ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ವಚನ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿದ 55 ಗಂಟೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಬಿ.ಎಸ್.ಯಡಿಯೂರಪ್ಪ ತಮ್ಮ ಸ್ಥಾನಕ್ಕೆ ರಾಜೀನಾಮೆ ನೀಡಿದರು. ಆದರೆ, 218 ಸ್ಥಾನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧಿಸಿ, ಕೇವಲ 38 ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಗೆದ್ದು, 180 ಸೋಲುಂಡು, 147 ಸ್ಥಾನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಗೆದ್ದ ಜೆಡಿಎಸ್‌ ಮುಖಂಡ ಎಚ್.ಡಿ.ಕುಮಾರಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಯಾಗಿ ಅಧಿಕಾರ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇದನ್ನು ವಿರೋಧಿಸಿ ಟ್ವೀಟರ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ #HDKNotMyCM ಎಂಬ ಹ್ಯಾಷ್‌ ಟ್ಯಾಗ್‌ ಟ್ರೆಂಡ್ ಆಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.

ಸುಳ್ಳು ಹೇಳುವವರು ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಆಗುವುದು ಬೇಡವೆಂದು ಬಿಜೆಪಿ, ಕುಮಾರಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಯಾಗಿ ಅಧಿಕಾರ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವುದನ್ನು ವಿರೋಧಿಸಿ, ಜನ ವಿರೋಧಿ ದಿನ ಆಚರಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಕನ್ನಡ ಜನತೆಯೂ ಎಚ್.ಡಿ.ಕೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲವೆಂಬುದನ್ನು ಟ್ವೀಟ್ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
