ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು[ನ.28]: ಬಹುನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿತ 14ನೇ ಆವೃತ್ತಿಯ ಪುರುಷರ ಹಾಕಿ ವಿಶ್ವಕಪ್’ಗೆ ಕ್ಷಣಗಣನೆ ಆರಂಭವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಹಾಲಿ ಚಾಂಪಿಯನ್ ಆಸ್ಟ್ರೇಲಿಯಾ, ಆತಿಥ್ಯ ವಹಿಸಿರುವ ಭಾರತ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಒಟ್ಟು 16 ತಂಡಗಳು ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿಗಾಗಿ ಸೆಣಸಾಡಲಿವೆ.

2016ರಲ್ಲಿ ಕಿರಿಯರ ವಿಶ್ವಕಪ್ ಗೆದ್ದ ತಂಡದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ 7 ಆಟಗಾರರು ಈ ಬಾರಿ ತಂಡದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥಾನ ಪಡೆದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಮನ್’ಪ್ರೀತ್ ಸಿಂಗ್ ತಂಡವನ್ನು ಮುನ್ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಹಾಕಿ ಟೀಂ ಇಂಡಿಯಾ ತವರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕಪ್ ಎತ್ತಿ ಹಿಡಿಯಲಿ ಎಂದು ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ತಾರೆಯರು ಟ್ವೀಟ್ ಮೂಲಕ ಶುಭ ಕೋರಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
