ಪ್ರತಿ ವರ್ಷ ಒಂದೊಂದು ಉದ್ದೇಶವಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು ವಿಶ್ವ ಪರಿಸರ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯನ್ನು ಆಚರಣೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಅದೇ ರೀತಿ ಈ ವರ್ಷ ’ಬೀಟ್ ಪ್ಲಾಸ್ಟಿಕ್ ಪೊಲ್ಯುಷನ್’[ಪ್ಲಾಸ್ಟಿಕ್ ಮಾಲಿನ್ಯ ಮುಕ್ತ ಪರಿಸರ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆ] ಘೋಷವಾಕ್ಯದೊಂದಿಗೆ 2018ನೇ ಸಾಲಿನ ವಿಶ್ವ ಪರಿಸರ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.
ಇದೇ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಟೀಂ ಇಂಡಿಯಾ ಮಾಜಿ ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟಿಗರಾದ ವಿರೇಂದ್ರ ಸೆಹ್ವಾಗ್, ಸಚಿನ್ ತೆಂಡುಲ್ಕರ್ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಹಲವು ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ತಾರೆಯರು ವಿಶ್ವ ಪರಿಸರ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಕಿವಿಮಾತು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು[ಜೂ.05]: ಇಂದು [ಜೂ.05] ಜಗತ್ತಿನಾದ್ಯಂತ ಹಸಿರು ದಿನವಾದ ವಿಶ್ವ ಪರಿಸರ ದಿನವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಪರಿಸರದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಕಾಳಜಿ ಮೂಡಿಸಲು ಜಾಗತಿಕ ಮಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ 1974ರಿಂದ ನೂರಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪರಿಸರ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.
