ನವದೆಹಲಿ(ಏ.24): ಮಾಸ್ಟರ್ ಬ್ಲಾಸ್ಟರ್ ಸಚಿನ್ ತೆಂಡುಲ್ಕರ್ ಇಂದು(ಏ.24-2021) ತಮ್ಮ 48ನೇ ವಸಂತಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾಲಿರಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್ ದೇವರ ಹುಟ್ಟುಹಬ್ಬಕ್ಕೆ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಜಾಲತಾಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅಭಿನಂದನೆಗಳ ಮಹಾಪೂರವೇ ಹರಿದು ಬಂದಿವೆ.
ಸಚಿನ್ ತೆಂಡುಲ್ಕರ್ ಇತ್ತೀಚೆಗಷ್ಟೇ ಕೋವಿಡ್ 19 ಸೋಂಕಿನಿಂದ ಗುಣಮುಖರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಕೊರೋನಾ ಅಟ್ಟಹಾಸ ಜೋರಾಗಿರುವ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಳೆದ ವರ್ಷದಂತೆ ಈ ವರ್ಷವೂ ಸಚಿನ್ ತೆಂಡುಲ್ಕರ್ ತಮ್ಮ ಹುಟ್ಟುಹಬ್ಬವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ. ಕಳೆದ ವರ್ಷ ಕೊರೋನಾ ವಾರಿಯರ್ಸ್‌ಗೆ ಗೌರವ ಸೂಚಿಸುವ ಭಾಗವಾಗಿ 2020ನೇ ಸಾಲಿನ ಹುಟ್ಟುಹಬ್ಬವನ್ನು ಮಾಸ್ಟರ್ ಬ್ಲಾಸ್ಟರ್ ಸಚಿನ್ ತೆಂಡುಲ್ಕರ್ ಆಚರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ.
ಕೊರೋನಾ ಸಂಕಷ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ಹರ್ಭಜನ್ ನೆರವು; ಟೆಸ್ಟಿಂಗ್ ಲ್ಯಾಬ್ ಒದಗಿಸಿದ ಭಜ್ಜಿ!
ಸುಮಾರು ಎರಡು ದಶಕಗಳ ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್ ಇಡೀ ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್ ಜಗತ್ತನ್ನು ಆಳಿದ ಸಚಿನ್ ತೆಂಡುಲ್ಕರ್ ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ಅಪರೂಪದ ದಾಖಲೆಗಳ ಒಡೆಯರೂ ಹೌದು. ತಮ್ಮ 16ನೇ ವಯಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಕಿಸ್ತಾನ ವಿರುದ್ದ ಅಂತಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್‌ಗೆ ಪಾದಾರ್ಪಣೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ಸಚಿನ್ ಇಂದು ದಿಗ್ಗಜ ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟರ್ ಆಗಿ ಬೆಳೆದು ನಿಂತದ್ದು, ನಮ್ಮ-ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕಣ್ಣಿನ ಮುಂದೆ ನಡೆದ ಅಚ್ಚರಿ. ಎರಡು ದಶಕಗಳ ಅವಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ 200 ಟೆಸ್ಟ್‌, 100 ಶತಕ, 34,357 ಬಾರಿಸಿದ್ದು, 2011ರ ಏಕದಿನ ವಿಶ್ವಕಪ್ ವಿಜೇತ ತಂಡದ ಸದಸ್ಯ ಕೂಡಾ ಹೌದು. ಸಚಿನ್ ತೆಂಡುಲ್ಕರ್‌ಗೆ ದೇಶದ ಅತ್ಯುನ್ನತ ನಾಗರೀಕ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿಯಾದ ಭಾರತ ರತ್ನ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿಯು ಲಭಿಸಿದೆ.
