ಕೋಲಾರದಲ್ಲಿ 80 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂಪಾಯಿ ಹೂಡಿಕೆ: ಪೋಲೆಂಡ್‌ಗೆ ಸಿಎಂ ಡಿಕೆ ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್ ಆಹ್ವಾನ

ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಭಾರತ-ಪೋಲೆಂಡ್‌ ಬ್ಯುಸಿನೆಸ್‌ ಮೀಟಿಂಗ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಡಿ.ಕೆ.ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರು 2027ರ ಜಾಗತಿಕ ಹೂಡಿಕೆದಾರರ ಸಮಾವೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಪೋಲೆಂಡ್‌ ಅನ್ನು ಆಹ್ವಾನಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ ಮತ್ತು ಹಸಿರು ಇಂಧನ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ದ್ವಿಪಕ್ಷೀಯ ಸಹಕಾರದ ಬಗ್ಗೆಯೂ ಚರ್ಚಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು: ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯಲಿರುವ ಜಾಗತಿಕ ಹೂಡಿಕೆದಾರರ ಸಮಾವೇಶ 2027ರ ಪಾಲುದಾರ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರವಾಗಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಲು ಪೋಲೆಂಡ್‌ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಡಿ.ಕೆ.ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್‌ ಆಹ್ವಾನಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಜತೆಗೆ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಪೋಲೆಂಡ್‌ ನಡುವೆ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ, ನಾವೀನ್ಯತೆ, ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ದ್ವಿಪಕ್ಷೀಯ ಸಹಕಾರದ ಪ್ರಸ್ತಾಪ ಮಾಡಿದರು.

ಖಾಸಗಿ ಹೋಟೆಲ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಶುಕ್ರವಾರ ನಡೆದ ಭಾರತ-ಪೋಲೆಂಡ್‌ ಬ್ಯುಸಿನೆಸ್‌ ಮೀಟಿಂಗ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಡಿ.ಕೆ. ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್‌, ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ, ನಾವೀನ್ಯತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಉದ್ಯಮಶೀಲತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಜಾಗತಿಕ ಮಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಕೇಂದ್ರವಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ, ಸುಧಾರಿತ ಉತ್ಪಾದನಾ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ, ಕೃತಕ ಬುದ್ಧಿಮತ್ತೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಪೋಲೆಂಡಿನ ಹಸಿರು ಇಂಧನದಲ್ಲಿ ಪರಿಣತಿಯು ಒಂದುಗೂಡಬೇಕು. ಆ ಮೂಲಕ ಹೂಡಿಕೆ, ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ, ನಾವಿನ್ಯತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ದ್ವಿಪಕ್ಷೀಯ ಸಹಕಾರ ನೀಡಬೇಕು ಎಂದರು.

80 ಕೋಟಿ ರು. ಹೂಡಿಕೆ ಮೂಲಕ 1 ಸಾವಿರ ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿ

ಕೋಲಾರದ ವೇಮಗಲ್‌ ಕೈಗಾರಿಕಾ ಪ್ರದೇಶದ ಐದು ಎಕರೆ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಪೋಲೆಂಡ್‌ನ ಟಿಝಡ್‌ಎಂಒ ಗ್ರೂಪ್‌ 80 ಕೋಟಿ ರು. ಹೂಡಿಕೆ ಮೂಲಕ 1 ಸಾವಿರ ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಯ ಪ್ರಸ್ತಾವನೆ ನೀಡಿದೆ. ಅದನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಈ ಹೂಡಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೊದಲ ಬಾರಿಗೆ ಸ್ಮಾರ್ಟ್ ಅಡಲ್ಟ್‌ ಇನ್ಕಾಂಟಿನೆನ್ಸ್‌ ಪ್ಯಾಡ್‌ಗಳ ತಯಾರಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಪರಿಚಯಿಸಿದಂತಾಗಲಿದೆ.

ಪೋಲೆಂಡ್‌ ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ಡೋನಾಲ್ಡ್‌ ಟಸ್ಕ್‌ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು. ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಗೃಹ ಸಚಿವ ಪ್ರಿಯಾಂಕ್‌ ಖರ್ಗೆ ಇತರರಿದ್ದರು.

ಭಾರತ ಪೋಲೆಂಡ್‌ ಬ್ಯುಸಿನೆಸ್‌ ಮೀಟಿಂಗ್‌ಗೂ ಮುನ್ನ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಡಿ.ಕೆ.ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್‌ ಅವರು ಪೋಲೆಂಡ್‌ ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ಡೊನಾಲ್ಡ್‌ ಟಸ್ಕ್‌ ಅವರ ಜತೆ ಹೂಡಿಕೆ, ವಾಣಿಜ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ ಅವಕಾಶಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕ ಚರ್ಚೆ ನಡೆಸಿದರು.

Bengaluru’s global technology ecosystem and Poland’s strengths in advanced manufacturing, AI and green energy present immense opportunities for a stronger partnership.

At the India–Poland Business Meeting, alongside Hon’ble Prime Minister of Poland Mr. Donald Tusk and his distinguished delegation, I reaffirmed Karnataka’s commitment to deepening our bilateral ties through investment, innovation and job creation.

I invited Poland to participate as a country partner in Karnataka’s Global Investors Meet 2027 and welcomed TZMO Group’s proposed ₹80-crore investment in the KIADB Vemgal Industrial Area in Kolar district. Spread across five acres, the project could generate around 1,000 jobs and introduce the manufacture of smart adult incontinence pads in India for the first time.

Karnataka offers considerable scope for further Polish investment in medical products, healthcare and advanced manufacturing. Our focus is on attracting investments that bring new technologies, strengthen local industries, create quality employment and support exports.

I also highlighted the Karnataka–Katowice Digital and Gaming Corridor, proposed through our partnership with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Katowice and Kato.hub, to foster collaboration in AI, gaming and deep-tech innovation and create opportunities for start-ups, technology companies and research institutions.

I encouraged Polish technology companies to explore Bengaluru’s strengths in AI, software, gaming, robotics, smart manufacturing and start-up innovation, and called for stronger partnerships in research, education and technology transfer.

Infosys’s nearly 20-year presence in Poland demonstrates the potential for deeper India–Poland technology cooperation. Karnataka will work to facilitate Polish investments in Bengaluru while supporting our companies in exploring opportunities in Poland.

Renewable energy, waste-to-energy, sludge management, wastewater treatment and circular economy solutions offer promising avenues for cooperation. I also encouraged Asseco and Polpharma to explore opportunities in IT, software services, pharmaceuticals and R&D, and ORLEN and KGHM Polska Miedź to consider partnerships in energy, petrochemicals and advanced manufacturing.

Investment opportunities extend well beyond Bengaluru. I invited Polish companies to explore Karnataka’s districts and our wider industrial ecosystem, with Poland’s Honorary Consulate in Bengaluru playing an important role in facilitating closer business and institutional engagement.

Building on our earlier engagements in Warsaw and Poland’s participation in the Bengaluru Tech Summit, I look forward to translating this visit into focused investment proposals, stronger business ties and meaningful opportunities for our people.
