ಜಕರ್ತಾ(ಆ.27): ಏಷ್ಯನ್ ಗೇಮ್ಸ್ ಕ್ರೀಡಾಕೂಟದ ಬ್ಯಾಡ್ಮಿಂಟನ್ ವಿಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಫೈನಲ್ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿ ದಾಖಲೆ ಬರೆದಿರುವ ಪಿವಿ ಸಿಂಧೂ ಇದೀಗ ಚಿನ್ನದ ಪದಕಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಹೋರಾಟ ಮಾಡಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ಮೂಲಕ 18ನೇ ಏಷ್ಯನ್ ಗೇಮ್ಸ್ ಸ್ಮರಣೀಯವಾಗಿಸಲು ಸಿಂಧು ರೆಡೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಸೆಮಿಫೈನಲ್ ಪಂದ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಂಧು, ಜಪಾನಿನ ಅಕಾನೆ ಯಮಾಗುಚಿ ವಿರುದ್ಧ 21-17, 15-21, 21-10 ಗೇಮ್‌ಗಳಿಂದ ಮಣಿಸಿ ಫೈನಲ್ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿದರು. ಏಷ್ಯನ್ ಗೇಮ್ಸ್ ಸಿಂಗಲ್ಸ್ ವಿಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಫೈನಲ್ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿದ ಮೊದಲ ಭಾರತೀಯ ಅನ್ನೋ ಹೆಗ್ಗಳಿಗೆಗೂ ಸಿಂಧು ಪಾತ್ರರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
