22 ವರ್ಷದ ಅಮಿತ್ ಉಜ್ಬೇಕಿಸ್ತಾನದ ಒಲಿಂಪಿಕ್ ಚಾಂಪಿಯನ್ ದುಸ್’ಮ್ಯಾಟೋವ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಮಣಿಸಿ ಚಾಂಪಿಯನ್ ಆಗಿ ಹೊರಹೊಮ್ಮಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಜಕಾರ್ತ[ಸೆ.01]: ಏಷ್ಯನ್ ಗೇಮ್ಸ್’ನಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತ ಇಂದು ಕೂಡ ಪದಕದ ಬೇಟೆ ಮುಂದುವರೆಸಿದ್ದು, ಬಾಕ್ಸಿಂಗ್ 49 ಕೆ.ಜಿ ವಿಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಮಿತ್ ಪಂಗೋಲ್ ಚಿನ್ನದ ಪದಕ ಜಯಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
22 ವರ್ಷದ ಅಮಿತ್ ಉಜ್ಬೇಕಿಸ್ತಾನದ ಒಲಿಂಪಿಕ್ ಚಾಂಪಿಯನ್ ದುಸ್’ಮ್ಯಾಟೋವ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಮಣಿಸಿ ಚಾಂಪಿಯನ್ ಆಗಿ ಹೊರಹೊಮ್ಮಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ಚಿನ್ನದ ಪದಕದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಭಾರತದ ಸ್ವರ್ಣ ಪದಕಗಳ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ 15ಕ್ಕೆ ಏರಿಕೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಏಷ್ಯನ್ ಗೇಮ್ಸ್’ನಲ್ಲಿ ಇದು ಭಾರತದ ಅತ್ಯತ್ತಮ ಸಾಧನೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದು, 1951ರ ಬಳಿಕ ಇದೇ ಮೊದಲ ಬಾರಿಗೆ 15 ಚಿನ್ನದ ಪದಕ ಜಯಿಸಿದಂತಾಗಿದೆ.
ಇದೀಗ ಭಾರತ ಒಟ್ಟಾರೆ 15 ಚಿನ್ನ, 23 ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ, 29 ಕಂಚು ಸೇರಿ 67 ಪದಕ ಜಯಿಸಿದ್ದು ಅಂಕಪಟ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ 8ನೇ ಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲೇ ಮುಂದುವರೆದಿದೆ.
