ಮಹಾನಗರಿ ಮುಂಬಯಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಹು ಮಹಡಿ ಕಟ್ಟಡಗಳ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ. ಇಂಥ ಕಟ್ಟಡಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದಾದ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ಟಲ್ ಟವರ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಂಕಿ ಅವಘಡ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿದ್ದು, ಘಟನೆಗಿನ್ನೂ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟ ಕಾರಣ ತಿಳಿದು ಬಂದಿಲ್ಲ. ಘಟನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಅಸುನೀಗಿದ್ದು, ಬೆಂಕಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿಹಾಕಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ಹಲವರಿಗೆ ಗಾಯಗಳಾಗಿವೆ.
ಮುಂಬಯಿ: ಒಂದೆಡೆ ಕೇರಳ ಹಾಗೂ ಕೊಡಗಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸುರಿದ ಮಳೆಗೆ ನೂರಾರು ಮಂದಿ ಜೀವ ಕಳೆದುಕೊಂಡು, ಮನೆ ಮಠಗಳು ನೆಲಸಮವಾಗಿವೆ. ಇತ್ತ ಮಹಾನಗರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಟ್ಟಡವೊಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಬೆಂಕಿ ಬಿದ್ದ ಪರಿಣಾಮ ನಾಲ್ವರು ಅಸುನೀಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಇಲ್ಲಿನ ಬಹುಮಹಡಿ ಕಟ್ಟಡ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ಟಲ್ ಟವರ್‌ನ ನಾಲ್ಕನೇ ಮಹಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಂಕಿ ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದು, 14 ಮಂದಿಯನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
