Recognizing enterprises enriching Karnataka’s tourism landscape and enhancing guest experiences in the hospitality sector

To be eligible for the Karnataka Enterprise Awards 2025, participants must meet the following criteria:

Location and Duration

The participating entity must be headquartered or actively operating in the Karnataka region for at least two years as of March 31, 2024.

Documentation Requirements

Participants must provide valid documentation such as an MSME/Udyam Certificate, DPIIT Certificate, or equivalent company registration proof.

For GST-registered entities, a valid GST/inclusion certificate must be provided.

Turnover and Business Scale

Startups: The entity must be within ten years of incorporation/registration, with an annual turnover not exceeding Rs 100 crore in any financial year since incorporation.

MSMEs and Social Enterprises: Annual turnover should not exceed Rs 500 crore as of March 31, 2024, with a valid Udyam/MSME certificate.

Large Enterprises: Annual turnover must exceed Rs 500 crore as of March 31, 2024.

Project/Initiative Implementation

The project/initiative must have been launched, implemented, and operational between April 1, 2022, and March 31, 2024, in Indian markets.

If the project/initiative was launched before this period, participants must clearly demonstrate the innovation or impact achieved during the eligibility period (April 1, 2023, to March 31, 2024).

Projects in the ideation or development stage are not eligible; they must have a measurable impact on Karnataka’s economy.

This fee is solely for participation in the competition and does not guarantee an award. The evaluation of participants is conducted by Ernst & Young through a standardised process.
